MEASURE 4. Number of localities where Amazonian priority species density and/or abundance are being monitored over time

ISSUE

Knowledge regarding changes over time in the density and/or abundance of Amazon priority species within the priority landscapes

DEFINITION

Localities must have at least two estimations of density and/or abundance separated by at least one year. Localities count multiple times if there are temporally separated estimates of more than one Amazon priority species at the same locality.

RESULTS

Preliminary results show that 24 localities have repeated sampling over time for 385 species-localities, including locations in the Yavari-Samiria Landscape with up to 10 samples over time.
