Abstract
The origin of tigers in China was discussed on the basis of fossil records of tigers in China and the conclusion was that Chinese tiger Wag originated in the middle of Yellow River Basin and the old hypothesis of the origin of the tiger in international and national literature was corrected.It was further indicated that tigers in North China were the oldest population in the world and extincted 50s of the last century.The process of endanger of the tiger population and causes of endanger were discussed.
