Abstract
Partnerships between local people and conservation organizations can make significant contributions to long-term success in conserving biological diversity, and managing resources sustainably. This paper describes a partnership between an indigenous organization in Bolivia and the Wildlife Conservation Society, and how they made important contributions to the conservation of a critically threatened ecoregion.
