Abstract
Given the importance of wildlife habitat protection in meeting land use management objectives, criteria for “habitat” identification are surprisingly amorphous. This paper examines the environmental variables associated with woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus caribou) presence in the boreal forests of northwestern Ontario, Canada.
