Abstract
A WCS Brazil publication, under the editorial coordination of Carlos Durigan and Alexine Keuroghlian, with executive edition of environmental journalist Liana John. This is the second volume of the magazine, with a circulation of 3,000 free copies. The publication intends to act as a channel of dissemination of scientific knowledge using a language accessible to society in general. The main themes of the published articles are the Upper Paraguay Basin (BAP), with a focus on the Pantanal; and present results of scientific studies and projects that occur in the Region in order to inform society so that it can value, respect and live in harmony with nature and, above all, motivate rural producers to develop their activities on a sustainable basis.
