Abstract
This case study series sets out five experiences of joint efforts in or near protected areas of Amazonas state that aim to strengthen community organization and generate income sustainably from natural resources. The project originated from the interest of WCS in understanding how their partner organizations work with forest communities to implement these activities, and the successes and challenges that result.
