Abstract
This working paper presents four case studies of WCS' efforts to understand and manage bear-human conflict throughout North America, including Calfornia, New Mexico, and the Adirondacks. The paper also includes an overview of bear-human conflict and management recommendations that can be drawn from these case studies.
