DEFINITION
Valuing the ecosystem is not sufficient to qualify, funding must be result from the valuation.
RESULTS
To date across the five participating Amazon landscapes there were two examples for this Measure: the Trust Fund for Madidi based on the 2005 sale of the rights to scientifically name a titi monkey, and the Programa de Socio Bosque in Ecuador which is supporting indigenous territorial management.
